say it aint so

Say it AINT So!

So the names are out there now, Grimsley has come out. This is not

good and it's just a way for the media to stir shit right before the

playoffs. We all know the media is biased and I am sure they knew

about this months ago. Notice how all the talk about Grimsley died

down all of a sudden when it was the biggest news in all of sports?

I love the NFL but I know they are loving this and people who hate the

sport of baseball are only going to focus on them. Have you heard some

of the former players of the NFL saying that more than half use

steroids or HGH themselves? I don't like to believe in conspiracies,

but this seems like a double standard. Everyone wants to tarnish

America's past time for the last 100 years while looking the other way

when it comes to the NFL, NBA or NHL.

Am I saying it isn't true? No, I think there is a very good chance

that it is true. I think this will give baseball a HUGE black eye, but

it has been through shit before and still it only gets better ratings

and better attendance.

For Clemens and Pettitte, this might be the time to disappear like

McGwire did. Pettitte has talked about retirement if he is hurting,

this might be his chance. Clemens....well he is a senior citizen and

could have retired years ago. I love those guys, but can you imagine

what is going to happen to Clemens now? He is going to be looked at

like Barry Bonds is now and Mark McGwire. EVERY win is going to be

questioned, but I think he might have started this in 1997, when he

was in the "twighlight" of his career. Do the math. Notice that in

1998, Pettitte had his worst season, then came Clemens in 1999 and

look at the numbers since. I want to not believe it, but can you deny

the facts?

Then you have Gibbons, Roberts and Tejada in Baltimore. If you don't

see them playing tomorrow in Boston that should give you an idea. It

starts from one junkie in the locker room and he starts telling his

boys that they can get better if they use this or that.

Who looks good in this whole ordeal? The Senate, the NFL, and sadly,

Jose Canseco. The only way you can test for HGH is via blood tests.

Right now there is NO way in hell that the players are going to agree

to that, but the Government might step in and force them to agree to

take those tests.
