Story telling - while getting a Mimosa refill from Lee Bamberg, host

Story telling - while getting a Mimosa refill from Lee Bamberg, host

Lee Bamberg, chef and owner at Java Junction, makes a marvelous

Mimosa. And delicious sandwiches and breakfasts.

Krewe of Barkus leaders Nan Massey and husband Clyde (seated, right)

chose Java Junction as the site for the 06 Krewe party. Entertainment

was the singing of Lip Service (see Sandra Odom at right) and a

dancing, storytelling time called Fais Do-do with Robert Trudeau.

Second lining at Java Junction with the Krewe

Just because we've entered the season of Lent doesn't mean I stop

second lining.

If you want entertainment that's all about the Cajun, zydeco and jazz

heritage of the Bayou State, please call and negotiate a date and fee

for a fine show. People get to dance along with me, play percussion

instruments and listen to my stories on the dance, music, festivals

and cooking of Louisiana. I'm at 318-861-6809.
