jason grimsley is dope

Jason Grimsley is a Dope!

Jason Grimsley, Major League Pitcher since 1989. Played for like 8

teams, including my Yankees. So he says he was using performance

enhancing drugs for years. That's right Jason, you better hang your

head. Well, as I remember in 99-00, he never pitched very well for us.

So either the stuff doesn't work or he REALLY sucked to begin with. I

vividly recall wincing when Joe called him out of the bullpen and

making the choking sign to my DH.

He has confessed and named names. But, I certainly, hope he told the

truth during his interrogation, because if he implicated innocent

people to get the heat off himself, then he's not just a dope but a

jerk. Ok, considering his part in the Albert Belle bat-corking

incident we already knew he was a jerk.

I will continue to be disappointed with any player who chooses to

cheat. It tarnishes the game and makes any record they achieve

pointless. I understand they feel pressure to get better and better to

stay in this sport. But if the Almighty didn't give you the natural

talent, I have an idea...work harder, train harder.

So many people target, Jason Giambi, and while I have never been a big

fan of his, at least he admitted it and took his lumps. Barry Bonds on

the other hand, has a policy of deny, deny, deny. I have no respect

for that, when there has been so much evidence that he has been using.

I will be sad, and so disappointed if any of my favorites have

been/had been using. Derek Jeter, Tino Martinez, Paul O'Neill, Mariano

Rivera. But by looking at them, I don't think so. None of them have

the tell-tale bulk.

When considering who might be named, people with great power and are

bulky to boot. I am expecting to hear Jason Giambi and Gary Sheffield,

they've been named before. I'm guessing I might hear about Shane

Spencer, Ruben Sierra, Bobby Abreu (sorry cuz), and David Dellucci.

And I'm hoping for the likes of Bonds, Sosa, Manny Ramirez, and David

Ortiz. Let's get it out in the open and get baseball back on track.

I don't know whether baseball will ever go to blood testing, but IMHO

they have no choice. It's either that or allow it. And if you are

going to allow it, just close down the hall of fame right now.

Hopefully the blood testing will catch the HGH and whatever the drug
