Three Real Coons : Jesse, Al, And Louis entertain us Whiteys we need Nigras

like you.

Given the state of modern black leadership (it's about as useless as a

douche bag) on the left and right in this country, I am never more

amazed that whites in general are always ranting about Al, Jesse, and

Louis like they have black America on location and 38 million people

take their cues from what they say or do. Who made the decision that

these men were our leaders?

1. White America

2. The Media

3. Black America

4. Corporate America

Were these men elected to serve the needs of 38 million people or in a

convient though nasty way to keep Black Americans politically and

socially marginalized in this country like 'crabs in a barrel' to keep

black infighting contained so we will not ask serious questions on the

political, economic and foreign questions of the day. Last time I

checked, in 2004 I voted David Cobb for President so why is white

America of all political stripes except the progressive left and in

the case of Farakhan the racist right (most of the GOP) "bitching"

about Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton like they were the second coming

of Al- Gadea well I surmise two things and they are not pleasant in

the least bit.

No. 1 many White Americans (not all) need black coons of any political

stripe for entertainment and to spew their racial angst about Black

Folks like a crack addict needs a fix.

In modern American politics, there needs to be good to oppose evil and

in this milieu The three Coons fit nicely in this tale of

entertainment masquerading as real racial conversation. Three

associates of the giants of black political thought Martin Luther

King, Malcolm X, Adam Clayton Powell got the job done and changed

lives in the process. Jackson, Farakhan and Sharpton who have had

moments of brilliance intersect with controversies that would kill

(politically and personally) kill lesser men and they truly have

accomplished much for themselves personally, and fiancially for

themselves and families (like any politician/advocate) but frankly

they have not accomplished what those other men did for this country.

If anything they became a "Cult of Personality" in which whenever

there's racial animus of any sort, they either became the scapegoat

for this country's or the people "the media" would call for the black

take on the issues. And each one of them serves a very useful purpose

in this " racial dance of convenice". Jesse Jackson whom unfairly gets

most of the blame from all sides when race relations go bad (when

there are historical factors are the cause to many of these problems)

when Blacks in those communities understand ask for Jackson because

they know that he will shine a light on a serious problem that the

majority seems to want to ignore willfully.

And Jackson deserves the moniker for being a "race hustler" when he

interjects himself into situations that have no merit but him just

being an ambulance chaser looking for an angle like getting

corprorations to fund him and his family and friends (which people

like Pat Robertson does all the time) but somehow Jackson is 'shaking

down corporate America' for his own profit when he is simply playing

all sides for his own hustle whatever is on the table, If anything

righteous comes out of it fine, If it does not it better profit him

personally or in the eyes of public opinion good or bad and it has

lead to a 40 year career in being a pop culture 'civil rights' leader.

Al Sharpton is the agent provocactuer of the three because of the way

he came into the national spotlight. As a preacher and James Brown's

man Friday of sorts, he knows how to use the media as well as Jackson

FOR HIS OWN PURPOSES. Like Jackson he goes into communities where he

is asked by a victim of the family of a race- based crime to "lean on

these crackers" for justice, or whatever that means at the time using

the tatics of the civil rights era (marching public redress) and the

loud rhetoric of his mentors James Brown and Adam Clayton Powell to

forge an entertainment -type aura. And at times like early in his

career he may have linked himself with unsavory elements to make a

name for himself and it has lead to some unfortunate incidents.

Sharpton for all his early rabble rousing and imfaming rhetoric, has

positioned himself as the 'next pop culture' civil rights leader by

cleaning his image, losing weight and sticking the perm in a ponytail

running for President and doing some good things (Diallo, Puerto Rico)

but Tawanna Brawley will forever taint him in the eyes of many people

and his appeals to anti semitism will not win friends amongst the

fragments of the remainder of liberal black- Jewish alliance.

Louis Farakhan is a different animal and white America's great fear of

racial warfare or uniting with Al- Gadea or some terrorist group to

strike a blow for the 'black man in America". In Thomas Jefferson

'Notes of Virginia', He talks of the avenging angel of race and

revenge for this country's sins against the black population where

either on or both races would destroy themselves and Farahkan with his

military -style rhetoric represents white American angst at it's

worse. He hates white people but will do business with them and use

their politicians (particularly on the right) to his advantage. His

organization the Nation of Islam is not adverse to using racial

symbolism and their hatred of Jewish folk (they are Muslim of course)

and for all their racial posturing, chest thumping and what I call

talking racial smack, The NOI in nearly 80 years of being an

organization has never bombed a Jewish Temple killed any innocent

white civilians or started any covert/overt action against this

country. The fear that it will do that keeps white folk scambling

because "they speak so well"and they save the dregs of society that

mainstream black church leaders ignore because Christianity has failed

to empower these black men/women in any realistic way in the ghettos

and mainstream black leadership defacto policy of racial intergration

at the expense of real black empowerment has given Farakhan his

political power and pull amongst the many of the inner cities in this

country and solified his legacy as 'Black Boogey Man No.1".

The American media deserves the greatest blame for what I call the

'Real three Coons' because of the white media's laziness to really

study the nuances in Black American life and include people who are

just as intellectually viable on issues like foreign policy and

economics white editors whether through their racism or need to tweak

white angst for racial entertainment needs people like Jackson,

Sharpton, and Farakhan to stir the racial flames amongst whites (and

the rest of the populace) and to keep Black Americans politically

neutered to the teat of race instead of our full humanity as complex

citizens who can articulate any issue (just go to any babershop or

salon and view the complexity of political thought) When a college

professor(who's a conservative) said that he would like to see a

'debate' between Clarence Thomas and Jesse Jackson in my class, I

repsonded "Jackson's a minster' and knows nothing of the law I would

love to see Kimberle Lewis Crenshaw debate Thomas (who avoids any

contact or debate with real black judges who challege his record)she

would would cut his unqualified neocon ass into intellectual

splinters. He said he never heard of her or people like Adolph Reed,

writers like Norman Kelley, or Julianne Malveaux and then he tipped

his hand when he said that white people consider Jesse, Al, Louis

"real black leadership" and the talented intellectually like the ones

I described would just complicate the agrument and for whites like him

and theycouldn't handle people like those and would rather name drop

people like Shelby Steele, Walter Williams, Uncle "Thomas" Sowell and

the reverend "Jesse Peterson as the new black leaders who are 'brave'

I told him brave is a Sudanese Christian trying to stay alive in Dafur

these are just "Negroes talking Shit" I see no one trying to kill them

like they did King . Needless to say, he started pointing to other

people who were more in tune with his politics.

The public black and white needs people like the Three Coons to keep

racial tension and to stifle any real debate in this country on racial

issues that are as complex as America writing Aramaic with a history

that is just as sorted and messy. I don't blame Jesse, Al, and Louis

for assuming the mantle of "black leadership"and not doing anything in

the way of public policy because they don't have that type of power
